- Aquia Garrisonville Animal Hospital schedules surgical procedures every weekday.
- All animals scheduled for surgery need to be checked into the hospital between 7:15am and 8:30am on the day of the surgery. A cancellation fee will apply if surgery is not cancelled at least 24-hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
- If you are unable to bring your pet to the hospital during the morning period, you may drop off your pet the previous evening between 5:30pm-6:30pm (no additional boarding charge). If you bring your pet in for a PM drop-off, please feed your pet prior to drop-off.
- For our first-time patients, we require a pre-surgical examination by one of our veterinarians prior to scheduling the surgical proceedure.
- All animals admitted to the clinic must be current on ALL vaccinations.
During anesthesia, all pets are closely monitored by technicians via EKG/pulse monitors. For added safety, we strongly recommend pre-anesthetic labwork for all surgical patients. Please discuss your pet's individualized needs with one of our veterinarians.
